Happy 2020! Nothing better to do this morning than to find melatonin studies, grab images from them, and edit them in Nidi Phixr.com filter, to see if cancer got better or worse-in this case, more or less purple colour... Spoiler alert:There was MORE cancer after melatonin was added to breast cancer cell lines... Process:Breast cancer cell line before and after Melatonin added...Both images have been edited in NIDI Phixr.com filter for cancer...Nidi results then run through the Image Color Summarizer to see actual percentage change of the grape colour(cancer marker)... Now, just because it is New Year's Day 2020, and I still had nothing better to do with my time... I did the whole thing again, using a different original photo of breast cancer cell lines, with an addition of melatonin... This time, an 8% increase in the purple cancer marker... Short Discussion: Melatonin urinary excretion INCREASES when someone gets MORE sunshine... Melatonin urinary excretion DECREASES when someone gets more darkness... This is VERY important to understand... Why? Because when they test people with different sorts of cancer, they excrete LESS melatonin than healthy controls... Despite the fact that the first two principles have ALREADY been established in sleep studies, people writing cancer studies on melatonin have INSISTED that low excretion levels(serum, urine, saliva), have lower INTRINSIC melatonin than healthy controls... Do you SEE the problem? The assumption is FALSE... People who have more melatonin inside their body(INTRINSIC), EXCRETE LESS melatonin... People with cancer excrete LESS melatonin... This does NOT mean they have less melatonin in their bodies... THIS is the CRUX of why the melatonin studies for cancer are so flawed... But I still see Facebook groups persisting in pushing high dose melatonin on people with cancer... AND I keep seeing people, in my imaging, doing WORSE, while doing high dose melatonin, and NOT understanding why... This morning, I thought I'd actually look at study results, in photos... Studies that purportedly say that melatonin helps with killing cancer... When I imaged their original and then melatonin added photos, both times, I got more cancer in results... https://www.spandidos-publications.com/10.3892/ol.2018.9758 The link is where I got before and after pictures from... I did not do the rest of the NIDI filters...Was just looking at the cancer marker... Before you recommend melatonin for cancer, maybe you could do your own imaging-my school is at http://Nidi.work where we teach how to do your own imaging... Do you really think alternative cancer recommendations are immune from money as a driver? Just because it is melatonin, and not a drug that is prescribed, does that make the studies safe from corrupt intent? Or mistakes? Just because people sound smart, does that mean they are also by nature ethical?(no, is the correct answer here...smartness, and big words, does not equate with ethical correctness-plenty of very smart people are not good people...Learn to separate smart from good)... I am not sure why melatonin has been pushed so hard for cancer-maybe because drug strength forms of melatonin are now emerging, which can be patented for money? *And that cancer is such a big field, you can recommend almost anything for cancer treatment, and people will buy it... '*Cow pee cures cancer-go run to India to have a cow pee on you...'(in fact, this was touted as a cure for developing blindness-and people did go to India to have a cow pee on their eyes!)(I know, because one of my Dad's patients went to India for the cow pee cure, and refused medical treatment for his condition...I happened to intern for an art school he(the patient), had been running, and mentioned this to my dad one day...My Dad remembered...The man by the way, went totally blind...Despite the cow pee...HOLY cow pee! Later the man was arrested for sexually assaulting his autistic daughter...Go figure...) Here is an out of the box approach: First link shows how melatonin can increase brown adipose tissue...
Second link talks about how brown adipose tissue is linked to increased cancer progression... https://diabetes.diabetesjournals.org/content/68/5/947 Melatonin increase Brown Adipose Tissue… https://rsna2018.rsna.org/dailybulletin/index.cfm?pg=18tue04 brown adipose tissue linked to cancer progression…
